I cannot remember what i did on each day. so, i shall talk about events rather than in chronological order.

We had a mini reunion dinner on i think shld be e 3rd day.

in order to shoo away the flies, they've attached this incense thing below the table.well, it did work. there wasn't any mosquitoes at all. instead, flying ants came to take their places.

A little background about me and my cousins:

the only cousins whom i have around my age are Wei Jie and Wei Ming and they are not in the area at the moment. The rest of them are all married with kids.Cool hur?

Next event: Alex cousin brought us to the protected zone, wanting to bring us go sight-seeing. however, upon arrival, a monkey came and 'greet' us. here's a shot of my dad posing with the monkey. -.-


and then, he tried to be funny. he tried to scare away the monkey. Initially, the monkey was frightened and backed off a few steps. THEN, it started to retaliate and ran towards my dad with its teeth baring at him. Scary. So, we didn't enter the zone and just left the place.
We went bandai (area name?) to look for my mum's...sister? -shrugs- i called her 'ah yee'. haven't met her for a long time but somehow still recognise her! =) her restaurant has been moved to another location already though. this is the new place. got time go there eat wor! =)

well, at least they still kept this small window..=P

yeah. bandai is pretty far from where i resided. took about 30min to get there by car. furthermore, we couldnt find the place cos we didnt have any address or tel number(we have e number, but no one picked up the call.) we had to ask around the neighbourhood for the restaurant...


Remember i told u about wei jie and wei ming? we went to their house and found this small boy (in white)! immediately, i thought "WEI JIE OR WEI MING IS MARRIED WITH A KID!??!"
turns out that i have an unknown cousin (their sister whom i never knew existed) and she is married with a kid.


this is my ah kim (my mum's brother's wife) and her grandson. gees.


i finally knew the purpose to my trip to malaysia. and that is to do 'springcleaning for the tomb'. in chinese is 'qing ming jie'. -.-"
this is my grandma's tombstone. she's a christian so we didn't burn any incense paper for her. however, my relatives still offered food and even drew lots to see if her spirit got come and eat ornot. i was like rolling my eyes all the way.
then, we went to another area to visit my other grandparents. in the picture below is a scene where my ah ku (wei jie's dad) burnt the incense papers for his dad (my granddad) and...i helped. no choice -.-" my mum ask me to stack the paper into a pile then she throw the fire in..so okay lor. bo bian. was like praying for cleansing sia. =X
